FAŽANA. Located approximately 8 km from the city centre, it is a place with an old marine traditions and it has always been a fishermen''s village. Nowadays the fishing activity is still celebrated with popular festivals like the Sardina Festival that takes place during the summer. Fažana is a quiet place that at the same time offers leisure opportunities and the chance to spend holidays in a place full of history. From here leave the boats and the guided tours for Briuni islands, originally Tito''s summer residence which is nowadays a National Park.
