HVAR. Is the island’s capital and the main ferry harbour. The old town is an architectonic jewel with many valuable monuments, like for example the Theatre, founded in 1612, the Fortress “Fortica” and the Cathedral. You can easily reach the beautiful coast inlets and the beaches by car, by bike or by a pleasant walk. During the past years many pubs, bars and clubs were opened and nowadays Hvar town is one of the most popular youth holiday destinations. For shopping lovers there are the old town’s tiny shops with crafts manufactures, local products, vine and olive oil.
